Everyone is welcome! Learn the basics of drawing from observation. In this very small, friendly Drawing Workshop with only beginners, there will be lots of step by step art tuition, demonstrations and encouraging, individual guidance to help you begin developing confidence and skills in the basics of drawing simple objects from observation using pencil and charcoal.

These new art skills you can then take away and practice, to use as a foundation for further adventures in drawing and painting, and if you want, there will be a follow-up art course.

Because there are only beginners in this drawing workshop, you can relax and enjoy the fun of learning new drawing skills, knowing you are all at the same stage, and that you will have lots of encouraging, step by step guidance from me.

Students are often amazed at what they can do with just a few hours' drawing practice, so come and have some fun - everyone is welcome, especially absolute beginners!

Having taught beginners drawing for nearly 28 years, I understand how beginners feel, what steps are needed to help beginners progress, and also that basic drawing is a skill that can be taught. You do not have to be a budding genius or have any prior drawing experience to come on this Beginners Drawing Workshop!
