Soft pastel (not oil pastel) is an exciting, expressive medium which can be used in a variety of creative ways which are not always associated with pastels.

Come and join this very small, friendly group where you will get loads of encouraging, individual guidance, step-by-step tuition, demonstrations and encouragement to explore and learn about:

• different types of pastel and surfaces to work on

• different ways of applying pastel to a surface

• different ways of using pastel to create dynamic, lively images

Everyone is welcome, although some previous experience drawing and mixing colour would be useful.
