This weekly Art Course in Bressingham, South Norfolk aims to help you explore exciting, creative ways of expressing yourself through drawing and painting. If you already have at least some basic skills in drawing and colour mixing, and would like to explore creative approaches to drawing and painting in a supportive, stimulating, fun atmosphere, then this could be the art course for you.
As well as teaching the 'how to' of drawing and painting, art tutor Zangmo also encourages you to explore a 'toolbox' of inspiring materials, methods, understanding and ideas. This enables you to discover your own, personal artistic self expression on an exciting journey of creative exploration, experimentation and self discovery. Rather than following a set 'house style', you will find a variety of styles in this art class, from representational to abstract.

Exercises, projects, discussions, talks, demonstrations and individual tutorial guidance are offered by qualified Art Teacher Zangmo Denise Alexander. She will often offer a focus or project theme as a starting point for the group, and there is always the option of doing your own thing and getting tutorial support as and when you want it. Teaching covers both representational, traditional approaches and more contemporary, experimental approaches.
You are also encouraged to explore different art media including watercolour painting, watercolour pencils, oil painting, acrylic painting, gouache, mixed media painting, collage, pencil, ink, pastel painting, charcoal and even using digital photography as part of your sketchbook!
