Personal Meaning & Spiritual Life Coaching

Often life events or just our own internal development can lead us to a place of really questioning our social and cultural conditioning, maybe even asking the big questions like 'Who am I?', 'Where am I going?', 'What is the meaning of my life?', 'How can I feel more fulfilled?' and so on. Our very authenticity can appear to be at stake.

Sometimes this deep questioning can be disorientating and confusing. It has happened to me several times in my life; on some occasions I really thought I was cracking up. I was moving out of my 'comfort zone' - that familiar, fluffy, pink space where all was known and safe, but not what I needed in order to develop further in myself. It was quite confusing and scary to move into the unknown from what seemed like a place of relative safety and control.

Some of this questioning may be around issues of personal belief, faith or spirituality, and it happens to people of any faith or none. My own path has been rich and varied: my family was Jewish, I went to a Christian girls grammar school, then dropped spirituality altogether and dropped out. Ten years later I explored Christian mysticism, Hinduism, Paganism and psychotherapy before arriving at my own spiritual home, which is Buddhist, and I have been a Buddhist nun for 4 years.

This background, along with my training as a teacher, artist, life coach in training and experience in therapy and on retreats helps me feel completely at home helping people of any faith or none to explore any issues connected with their spiritual life. I offer an empathic, non-judgemental and non-directive listening space in which you can share as openly as you wish, knowing that I will support you in whatever way you need.
